« on: 03 September 2009, 09:27:48 PM »
Hey, folks! I just posted a short interview I did with Darkson about the AE Bounty game on my blog:

A few nice tidbits of info in there.

Thanks for looking!

Yeah it looks to be the best sci-fi game in a very very long time. Why is it that when sci-fi is so popular there are so few decent rulesets out there?

I am excited. Good to hear you'll be able to play small on a 2 x 2 or 3 x 3.

I like my 40K and AT-43 intrigues me, but nothing beats a good sci-fi skirmish, in my book. If they did Legends of the Old West for sci-fi, I'd be there! But AE Bounty is going to scratch that itch just fine, I think.

I've heard October, but I have also heard the slightly more vague, "before the end of 2009". Being a game designer myself, I can attest to a lack of control on certain levels of the process. Once the rules are done (and I am certain they are), you have to wait for layout, proofing, and printing, and if you're printing abroad, there are lead times involved.

I'll be pleasantly surprised if it hits in October, but it'll be a welcome holiday present if it arrives in December.
