Thanks for sharing your labelling approach - it seems well thought-out, and the numbering could even be linked to some record of which manufacturer and which pack each figure came from, if necessary.

Thanks much!  I have actually done exactly that in Excel.  As I bought I catalogued all of my Aztecs, Conquistadores, and Tlaxcalans from Wargames Foundry, Outpost Wargames Foundry, Eureka , Tin Soldier UK, or even my OOP Ral Partha.  That proved to be very useful for this project (and to help me figure out what I needed to get figure-wise).
