... black-haired, sullen-eyed, sword in hand, a thief, a reaver, a slayer, with gigantic melancholies and gigantic mirth, to tread the jeweled thrones of the Earth under his sandaled feet.
I thought I'd just share this 3D print I did on my Ender 3 a while back - just painted up (please excuse the bad phone images).
I think this is possibly the best Conan pose I have seen, it fully captures the ferocity implied in the stories.
The Ender 3 is not really suited to minis but at .08 resolution I think he turned out acceptable and sort of affirms that you can turn out tabletop quality models with a cheap machine.
He doesn't bear close up scrutiny, he's a playing piece rather than a model and without doubt a resin printer would produce much, much better results. Alas I neither have the space, ventilation system or free cash for such and the Ender was purchased for terrain, which it turns out extremely well in embarrassing quantities, so much so that I now have a lead-pile, plastics pile and a terrain mountain to climb.. Such is life
