Another Samurai.

I need to concentrate on finishing the ruffians though I think.

Ah…ok.  😉

Sprayed the bottom desert yellow then simply added Agrax wash yes.

Yup, the forests.  How well does that hold up as it does a nice job of conveying the effect.

Cheers.   Yup the bamboo isn’t great at taking paint.  So the bottom being the less “flexed” when in use just about holds the army painter desert yellow which is slightly sealed with the wash I feel.

Works for me anyway.

Another ruffian…looking for something to squish!

You are cranking these out at an amazing clip! The models look gorgeous to boot!

What’s your formula for the skin tone?

Cheers Jack!  To be honest…I don’t like faces so I try to use the quickest method I  can.

Simply paint the face with AK golden flesh.  Slightly watered down Agrax earth wash, then reikland flesh shade pick out none and cheeks in golden flesh.  Finally light reikland wash over the highlights.

Anyway, another ruffian.

Great scenery.
But can you give Some more information about the miniatures?
What firm you buy them? I am quite a newby concerning Samurai skirmishing.

No problem.   Pretty much all these recent posts are Grey for Now Games miniatures.

Well this offering is my attempt at a cherry tree orchard!

As the man says….

So….just need a few buildings now.   We have a fair bit ready to play over.

And on to the next scenic…..bamboo fish drying rack ( because I had a pair of spare fish).  One for the paint tray.

The bird eyeing up the fish is a nice touch.

Yup it was an easy decision as I painted a batch of them for my pirate port.

I think I need a few more fish though….looks a tad sparse!

Could be…but I’ve ordered a few resin fish to flesh it out a bit.

Meanwhile, the last two minis from the rogues and ruffians set.  The Paymaster and The Signaller

The full gang
