I like the way this project is progressing

slower than I would have liked but life, work, covid etc. well you know...

I have played a couple of short learn the rules games on a 2X2 board but

I still need to put together the city, military outpost and bunker boards and get a few wrecks before I set up a propper campaign

mainly on terrain but have also added some hotspot/POI markers

and have these on the holiday table

I have wild dogs and plan to get some wolves too but theses boars fit the area too

I have some similar wild boar waiting to be painted up for the zone. I'd read a report about real life unofficial visitors to the Chernobyl exlusion zone getting charged by wild boar and when I saw some come up for sale on here I decided I had to have them!

That's a great pic! There's something about the remains of the smaller villages in the exclusion zone that I like, of course the abandoned concrete buildings of Pripyat are impressive but the more rural remains have a charm of their own too.
