slower than I would have liked but life, work, covid etc. well you know...

I have played a couple of short learn the rules games on a 2X2 board but

I still need to put together the city, military outpost and bunker boards and get a few wrecks before I set up a propper campaign
On the lookout for 10mm Magister Militum Fantasy figures, halflings and woodelves in particular

still working away on this project

mainly on terrain but have also added some hotspot/POI markers

and have these on the holiday table

I have wild dogs and plan to get some wolves too but theses boars fit the area too

I have some similar wild boar waiting to be painted up for the zone. I'd read a report about real life unofficial visitors to the Chernobyl exlusion zone getting charged by wild boar and when I saw some come up for sale on here I decided I had to have them!

That's indeed a Eureka miniatures model

I decided a while back that I was going all soviet so they are back in the stash somewhere...

I'd read the boars in and around the region are still radioactive so couldn't resist

seeing this pic of a village in Chernobyl sealed it, looks like they are after someone

That's a great pic! There's something about the remains of the smaller villages in the exclusion zone that I like, of course the abandoned concrete buildings of Pripyat are impressive but the more rural remains have a charm of their own too.  :)

some shots of my first go with solo and POI rules - random generated senario abandoned village, find and retreave intel

coming to terms with 2X2 not being big enough once you've learned the rules  - will treat myself to a 3X3 mat once I've had a clearout

This project is looking great! It's a treat to follow along.
Very evocative.
