Hmm. Bob Murch seems to get better and better. Blaxploitation is not my cup of coffee (at least at the moment) but look at this face and the hair! So coool.

I'm not very interested in Blaxploitation either, but a more general 1970's cops-and-robbers theme, on the other hand...

Especially, I'd love to imitate the ambience in "Life on Mars"*, which I'm honestly starting to think of as the best TV show, ever.

I think someone was even working on modifying .45A to a 1970's setting, which were the same lines I was thinking along.

*For anyone reading this years from now, I'd like to point out that as I write this, there's only the British version of the show. Apparently the Americans are now remaking it, which I'm not overly hopeful about.

That's a great facial expression and the medallion is a nice touch.

I'm not really sure what would need to be done to move .45 to a 70s setting, rename Detective to Copper, Officer to Plod and you've got Life on Mars covered.   :)

It's a great show.  The big problem would be finding a 1:56-ish scale Ford Cortina.

Vanguards do a Mk1 Cortina in 1:43. They also do a range called Boy Racers which is quite good, aswell as 70's police vehicles etc. Cararama also do 70's British cars. 1:43 looks ok with 28mm minis.
There are quite a few on Ebay!!

At least until I finish my current projects.  But it's going on my list.  :)

I wonder if they do an Austin Aggro too.
