Bolt action Germans - final squad painted.
« on: June 13, 2021, 01:28:42 PM »
A small project to create a 300 point bolt action force to face my commonwealth troops so I can play some small scale games to remind myself how the rules work. Started a new job recently and have not had much spare time, so hoping this will keep me going to finish them off.

There's not much to it really, an officer and minion, pak 38 antitank gun and two squads of grenadiers, one of which still hasn't been undercoated but is shown as I was inspired to convert a MG30(t) for them after watching the longest day the other, erm, day.

Nice work so far.  The MG30(t) looks pretty good, too.

After a bit of a busy time with the new job, I've finally got something painted, of course it's not part of the original force. So here we have Lt Gruber, Hubert jr and of course Clarence the driver, Hubert jr has had a bit of an update to his colour scheme and still needs the transfers doing once I've decided where to put them.

Slightly late, but thankyou.

Finally got the last squad painted, have been a bit distracted by konflikt 47 so will most likely be expanding the force that way, especially as I like some of the changes made in the rules compared to bolt action.

I'm happy you said that, I didn't have a clue how to paint it, just did a google image search then winged it.  :D
