How I Made a Wadi
« on: June 19, 2021, 09:05:41 AM »
I wanted a wadi for WWII North African Desert games so I made one. It took a while to figure out the best method to get what I wanted but I got there in the end. It took much longer to figure out how to make them than the actual making itself. All up they took about a week and most of that time was spent waiting for things to dry and cure.

Lots of photos and details on how I made it on my blog at: http://this28mmlife.blogspot.com/2021/06/making-wadi-shawaddywaddy.html

Below is a link to my blog. It's the place where I write uninteresting things about little toy soldiers. I do this because I refuse to grow up and behave like an adult.

I like the 'Wood flour' I presume that is what we
would call 'Saw-dust' ?

Very good solution for a tricky terrain feature.
A bottle of scotch and two aspirin a day will greatly reduce your awareness of heart disease.

I call it sawdust too but it seems that when bought in a 20 litre sack the mill close to me decided to call it wood-flour.  ;D

Wood Flour is a more fine sawdust, tends to be more of a powder and more flour like consistency there.
