A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

These are great! They look like some miniatures that would provide some comic relief on the gaming table.

I love those bases too. Maybe someday I'll get off my lazy arse and put vegetation on my bases too.  ;)

Are these the old metal magic ones? if so they were a lovely range, a lad at our club used o have the full set and we had some cracking games where the Legionnairies got extra points for weird battle formations :D
Wish some one would bring them back

No. They aren't the old Metal Magic, and I dont know the manufacturer.
I found them in a bring & buy here in Milan (stoopid me, there were two blisters and I boughy only one :'()
They were in a blister similar the the Foundry ones...
Maybe Foundry?

Maybe I'll get one or two boxes of plastic legionaires to play a simple skirmish, suitable for partecipation games.
But.. how can the Romans win?? :D

Nicely done indeed. I think they are the Metal Magic/Hobbycraft ones, never saw them blistered myself but the poses look very familiar.

Surely they are?

(link)

Some Metal Magic lines have been rereleased by other companies. However, I believe the Asterix stuff was discontinued, and even if the real moulds/masters are there somewhere, the licence has almost certainly expired. I don't know if they were officially released under Hobby Products name for a while. Today they're both OOP and highly valued by collectors. Therefore some bootlegging has apparently taken place.

So, MM minis, but possibly another caster. I don't know any better than that.

They are the old Metal Magic ones, I have them too.

The prepainted metal pixi ones are the same scale (though they'll cost you).

Lovely paintjob, I need to do mine someday when I'm done with the Lucky Luke ones.
