What I painted in September (2009)
« on: September 14, 2009, 07:50:55 AM »
Hello chaps, I'll start the ball rolling this month with the very tiny amount of figures I've painted... 3

They are all retainers/family members of the Sanada clan. Enjoy  :)

cheers

James

I might yet get more painted this month - half the month left, after all!  lol

But just to show off, because I really like how the paint job came together, my latest:

These have been painted over the last couple of months , but I have only just varnished them . I've also worked out a better lighting arrangment so thought I'd share. I think my camera setting were wrong though :-[
The Cowboy Zombies are from Foundry with a couple of conversions from Boers as I needed more figures for a LoTOW Outlaw gang .

The Gouls are conversions from left over GW Goul and Zombie bits added to Catachan bodies . A very simple wash technique was used.

The decontamination squad are a mix of Copplestone and EM4 figures done in a very simple wash.

For a moment I thought I'd be the only one to post at the end of the month, not in the middle of it...

Besides painting Japanese troops and Pacific Island terrain (posted in other threads), I took a break from WWII and painted up a fantasy figure.

My first post in the "what I painted in ....." board.

A very productive month (for me) and all for French & Indian War.

Mohawks:

I LOVE the faces on these two.
They look sooooo sad!  :)
The one on the right really remind me of someone, but I can't quite place him... (David Schwimmer maybe?)
The one on the left is the spit of someone I work with. Just that lugubrious expression...  lol

Nice work though Silent Invader...

I painted my arse blue and ran around the garden naked. No pictures though.  :)
Anybody else do that or is it just me?
Don't!
