Nice project and painting.  What rules are you going to use?

Thanks!  We're still trying to figure out a rule set.  I've had the Bolt Action modern variant and Force on Force recommended by several people online; since my gaming group already plays a lot of BA WW2, we'll probably try that variant first and see how it goes. I'm also trying to meet up with someone to learn Spectre, so we'll see if that works at all (I've heard it's best for small actions with only a few figures per side rather than what we're planning).

Good luck.

Have you seen this comparison?  It might help, or just add more options.  :D

I'm going to try Fistful of Lead for modern games at some point too.

Great work. These buildings look a bit like mars or StarWars, right?

Thanks All! The buildings seem to be based on west African designs, but I have seen some cool sci-fi conversions online.

Nice work on the French, the terrain in the area has a lot of possibilities!

My village needed a shopping area, so I've created one from some GameCraft MDF kits. I think this was one of the more entertaining builds for this project, and I had a lot of fun assembling it. Eureka's African market set will be coming for Christmas, so it will be growing a bit in the future.  More pics are on the blog, along with with all the files for the signs if you'd like to use them on your own projects.
