The Great DBA Army Census!
« on: August 03, 2021, 03:25:18 PM »
Hello folks! I am curious what DBA armies people have collected. This survey form lists all the DBA 3.0 army lists: https://forms.gle/UhfSjiBXJNkVTGZB9

If you have a chance, please fill it out! I will report back at some point with the results.

Done, but I think I'm out of range, counting main armies and expansions/variations.  ;)

Done.
A short list now, but had you asked a few years ago it
would have been over FIFTY DBA armies. All but two
gone to other (better?) homes.

Hmm, survey said collected, not painted!

46 armies fully painted, another 58 in various stages from untrimmed metal to very nearly done; and with morphing capabilities (Greek Hoplites adding considerably), that yields 166 on the collected checklist.  Plus or minus a smidge for new variations in 3rd ed sublists — our gang is still playing 2.2+ here; we'll happily use armies from any edition, but my army notes are all for 2nd.

Heavy on Book I and Book II, Pictish was no. 100.  A number of armies in multiple quantities for big battle games which we play a lot in every time period.

Some surprises in the order, but interesting.
Thanks for taking the time to do this.
