2nd Bn, Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders served in Malaya and Singapore in 1941-42. What markings did their vehicles have? I have seen names on their Lanchester Armoured Cars but an Infantry  Battalion has a lot of vehicles. I know they "repaired" a lot of abandoned vehicles but I'm looking for their integral vehicle markings.
Cheers,

There is a book on the A&SH in Malaya called "Moon Over Malaya". I have not red it but it may be of interest.

I have that, not many pics of MT and very few in Stewart's own story of their Peninsula campaign.

I looked for this, and found nothing. The images of Lanchesters don't show any markings other than the Scottish castle names. I added WO Numbers - and left it at that.

Doug, I was thinking more B vehicles, light trucks, heavy trucks, cars etc.

It is probably worth trying the Regimental museum in Stirling Castle.

All I can find is that they carried Scottish Castle names and WD numbers in local style.

The crews trained in dismounting one of the Vickers MMG to use in the "light" role on a bipod as in this photo:
