Great additions.

Looks like I shall have to get some of those heads at some point to expand my own Rebel force.

Loving your project and great to see some of the same ideas for minis etc I have been using. The Jawas though are truly inspired.

Thx for your kind words guys!

I'm still plodding along on this project. Finally finished my Stormtroopers and other Imperials, although the Scout speeder bikes are still in the painting queue.

I converted some of them:

Fortunately there were also other colors than white to paint:

Thanks Grumpy!

I'm expanding my collection with some crime syndicate types:

And also a few repurposed miniatures I thought I'd never use:

Outer Rim hunter:

Chiss agent:

Imperial Security Bureau:

Iquisitorius:

I've added some custom built speeder bikes to the collection:

Plus two civilian air speeders:

And civilians to enliven the tabletop:

Thanks Grumpy & Golgotha.

Positive feedback and regularly posting on the blog and on the Leadadventure forum has helped keeping me focused on finishing things (instead of halfway starting a new unfinished project).

I still have a few spaceships and a few miniatures to paint, but the end of the Star Wars painting queue is in sight.

Everything (painted that is) together on the table:

Just caught up with the blog progress pictures and congratulations on closing in on the end!  Nothing really compares to seeing everything laid out on the table at once.

(instead of halfway starting a new unfinished project)
But then again, if it wasn't for half unfinished projects some of us (me) wouldn't have any projects at all. :-I
If my wife asks, I only spent half as much as I wanted to...

Thats a fantastic project I just read through! I like you use of proxies and its inspiring for my own 28mm SW project. There lots of ideas in there (like Bretonnian bodies, Mantic bits) that I never would have thought of.

What a fantastic project!  Great work all around and I'm particularly impressed with your Jawas.

Also, using Deadzone Rebs as SW Rebels is a stroke of genius. They really look the part. I have those figures and while I like them, I never really had a reason to paint them up.  Now I do!

Thanks for the kind words people!

I've painted the last of the miniatures in the queue (Cad Bane, an albino Nexu and 2 alien dignitaries) and 2 more ships: the Hasbro U-wing and a Thunderbird 2 toy as a generic freighter.
