Spanish Napoleonic Light Infantry

Hi Guys
I am currently putting together a rather large Spanish Napoleonic Army.
Phase one is the earlier Armies of 1808 /1809.
I have lots of information gathered already.
However there is one thing I can get clarification on .

The question is thus.

Did Spanish Light Infantry Regts have Grenadiers ?, and if so did they wear the Bearskin ?

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

VonAkers, I can't be definitive and am certainly no expert. However looking at several books on the Napoleonic Army in my possession I can find no textual or pictoral reference to Grenadiers as part of the Light Infantry Regiment organisation.

I'm not at home so I don't have my reference library at hand, but from the looks of it, Light Infantry didn't have elite companies prior to being reorganized in in 1812.  After that it appears they had elite companies of carabineers & tiradores.

Long story short, for 1808/09 I think you're safe leaving the elites out.
