I've been meaning to do these two for ages-Scots Foot and Dragoons for King James. The figures are from Irregular and Essex 15mm. I'll get round to doing the dragoons mounted shortly.

Cheers Redshank. I suppose it might be hodden grey. From what I understand hodden grey could be a range of colours being a mixture of undyed wool. For the earlier period I sometimes use some light brown colours for it.
