Steve, this is absolutely brilliant! A simple and effective campaign, some very nice tabletop engagements and gorgeous units of miniatures. Would it be possible to show us a sample issue of that newsletter? Seems to be a fun element of the game ...
Thanks for sharing your games with us.

Just back in after a busy old week.  More soon.  Cavalry bases are 50mm x 25mm.  Why?  Because I've always based all my cavalry since the dawn of time that way....

I'll set up a shot with the Bolo cavalry this weekend (the weather forecast is good), but meantime, here's a game shot....

Newsletters - happy to send them to anyone for this campaign, if anyone wants to send me their e-mail addresses.

Battle of Khunjerab Pass - the Bolshevik last throw of the dice is thwarted by the arrival of a DH10 and a large pile of heavy bombs......

I needed them for making stable boxes for exactly these figures which I don't have yet

Oh, so I was right. Seems I can estimate for time to time.

Cheers for the new shot. That's a nice bird you have there.

Although its relatively easy to get 1/48 scale fighter aircraft these days, bigger beasts are harder to come by.  This is an 1/48 scale Aurora kit from the 1970's which I bought recently from Kingkit (www.kingkit.co.uk), who have an astounding list of kits from the past 40 years.  The model itself was very simple to put together, other than the struts, which master modeller Smirnoff (aka Rodger Williams) solved with using wooden cocktail sticks to provide rigidity.  Not sure how long 36 year old decals will hold up mind you.....

Just don't think about it and you should be fine. ;)

*fingers crossed*
