Brilliant.

Probably speaking out of place in all respects - but it's something like this project that Osprey should produce as one of a series of supplements for Silver Bayonet.
Both in terms of the subject / content, and also the modelling excellence.

Thanks folks! Been working on other things lately, but I shall return to Glendarroch soon. Now that the Companions are done, it's onto the monsters, villains and other fun acillary pieces!
Proudly not painting Wars of The Roses since... ever

Superb thread!

I'm just getting in to Silver Bayonet (late to the party, as ever!), and this thread has been very inspirational.

All of the miniatures look fantastic - I really like the Cu Sith and the Brollachan, really pushing the folkloric (is that even a word?!?) over the gothic.  Not that the two can't exist together, but I like the approach of leaning into the perhaps more obscure folklore entities over the more trad-gothic ones.

I also have that Perry Naval Party and they are indeed a pretty much 'ready to go' Silver Bayonet unit.

That blackhouse over in post #82 looks like this one, from Total Battle Miniatures:

I also stumbled on this one from Fogou Models, whilst I was looking:

Not that I'm affiliated with either, mind, just turned them up whilst I was looking for stuff for my own collection.

Blowing the dust of this one a bit, but thanks for the last kind comments guys!

Finally finished those bloody walls, though!  lol You need walls to keep the evil in, see?

Not sure what I'll add next, I think I had an idea to do some beehives, and that'll probably do it for the time being...

Ah yes, that's exactly where it's from!

I've recently been pointed towards the forthcoming "Devilry Afoot" game, which seems to be along similar lines to TSB, so may find myself back painting further monsters to add on here sooner than anticipated...

as they're the same price, I'd go with the one with the modelled interior.

I can heartily recommend the TBM blackhouse, it is a really nice piece that paints up really well.

I realise I've never actually posted up a picture of the Companions all together, which seems something of an oversight. So, to remedy that, here you go, the gang's all here!

Quite pleased with how well they all work together, given the variety of uniforms, really quite chuffed with the result! I'll get round to some more atmospheric glamour shots at some point...

They look terrific all together. I really like your painting style. :)
