In the fabled Gorge of A Thousand Gods in the remote khanate/emirate of Smut, the retreating zoroastrians have left behind a crumbling old
dakhma, the towering platform onto which the remaining few worshipers of Atar in the area leave their dead in this final resting place to be excarnated.
In the west these sacred constructions are commonly know as "Tower of Silence", but locally the people of Smut have named this ghoulish place "The Tower of Ruckus" because of the din kicked up by the wake of vultures, murder of crows, unkindness of ravens and other scavengers decending to pick the bones of the dead.
