A couple of Naps, W.i.p sculpt.

A Drummer, he will will be holding drum sticks and resting his hand on his Drum and in his right hand will be holding his Sabre. I think it's called a sabre :D

One loading his musket or putting the powder in... once the body and head is done i will adjust the wire for the arms in to the correct pose...

Progress  so far on the French Napoleonic sculpts, 4 done so far, finished number  4 today.

One more to do, the French Drummer and see what  to sculpt  next...

Indian Mutiny had crossed my mind. Just getting the feel of sculpting uniforms etc...

Still working on 28mm scale sculpts and thought i would try a 40mm scale Napoleonic. Here he is next to one of the 28mm scale sculpts.

Silver Bayonet is a Napoleonic Gothic Horror tabletop game

Less uniform or unit structure than wargaming

It's all about the characters and your sculpts have it in spades

Kikuchiyo ... Thanks....

Sounds cool .

When you say less uniform, so how do you identify different nationality's ?

So you'd have to create different characters ? from different countries etc ?

There's more info on the gothic subforum but bacially its a small unit gothic narative game

You pick a country and get up to 8 in your unit, aside for the gothic hunters, occultists etc.

you could have a sapper, infantryman, grenadier, guard, cavalryman on horse or foot for example

but when I say it's more about character than uniform(ity) there is less requirement for the models to be exactly historically acurate

here is the start of my British unit for example

Kikuchiyo ...

Sounds a lot more relaxed than sculpting  historically accurate miniatures.

I will have a think and see what i can come up with.

Can you add your own kit etc...? or is there a line you don't cross so they don't look silly...?

I guess i could start with a french grenadier, just wondering what pose and kit etc...

Would they be best suited in action poses etc...?

Your minis look cool, liking the sapper!

You mean the gothic sub forum on Lead adventure...?

Thanks and Yep :D

Pose wise think rough and ready

no lines outside of period gear as far as I can tell, if you check out the range from northstar you''ll get some idea of what the lines are
