Kikuyu revolt Game at Vapnartak
« on: 15 February 2022, 06:27:55 PM »
Along with Chris and Malcom from the East Leeds club we played a wonderful Kikuyu revolt game at the Vapnartak show in York last weekend. Write up with lots of pictures on my blog, was great fun here

Nice looking miniatures and board.  :-*

I like the way you varied the basing of the miniatures. Almost certainly helps with casualty elimination but also looks real good.

Looks like a good game - and loved the critters.  Awfully brave folk hanging around that hippo, though.  ::)

Lovely!

Nice to see some KAR in their blue jerseys! I don't recognise the figures, could you tell me what manufacturer they are made by? (And do they come sculpted wearing jerseys, or are those 'paint conversions?'

Thanks for the Kind comments, the KAR are old Battle Honours, still nice figures,  am pretty sure the jerseys are sculpted.

We ahve astarted this basign style for irregular figures in Sharp Practice, will be using similar for 1745 Highlanders.

Hope I didn't miss this information on the blog but what are you using for the round and lozenge shaped bases?

Thanks!

Thanks guys, the bases are just MDF rounds, 40mm for 2 figures and 50mm for 3.
