Austrian Unit for the Silver Bayonet
« on: 18 February 2022, 01:01:20 AM »
In the first images, from left to right: the commander of the unit Major von Fellner of the 3rd Grenzer Regiment; supernatural investigator Doktor Höllewisst (obviously a nom-de-guerre, to spare his family the embarrassment of a son who trespasses into crypts and buys garlic by the bushel); and the intrepid occultist Katrina von Wellen (contributor to "The Friends of English Magic" and other thaumaturgical journals).

The remainder of the section are from the 17th Grenzer Regiment, a Transylvanian unit (from what more natural recruiting ground could the Kaiser recruit vampire hunters?): the veteran hunter Dragoş Traianescu, the sapper Stefan, and reliable soldiers Casimir and Bogdan.

(Perry figures for the grenzers, Brigade for the Viennese specialists, some conversion work done.)

I like that you recruited your unit members from the most distant regions of the K.u.K. Monarchy as well! This will certainly add flavour to the background.  :D

Excellent looking unit! You can tell things are getting serious when your Veteran Hunter slings his musket and takes out his mallet and wooden stakes!

lol Good point! Still, if my family is anything to go by camping can still be a rather stressful and traumatic event!

Great looking unit.  Nice to see the Austro-Hungarians represented (vice the typical French and British).
