A few repaints of AT-43 Red Block Heroes. I will most likely not repaint the troopers though. We are getting to start a campaign this fall in Kansas City.

Thanks all.

Agis, I saw your repaints some time ago and it was the inspiration for me picking Red Block.

Cleaning the mold lines was a pain in the @$$ though. Does anyone have a suggestion about cleaning the mold lines without going insane?

I am painting the power twins now and will post when completed.

Great looking stuff, I do not know how anyone repaints either these sort of miniatures or clix...I have tried and just wind up irritated at the results.

Don't try to strip the paint off, it will not come off. Scape and prime. The details are often softer that metal, so sometimes the details will need to be painted on.

I really dig these!

Why Rackham just doesn't release 'unpainted' versions of the same minis is beyond me....Even if it's only available in 'limited numbers'.

I honestly do not understand your problem with pre-paints.
If you want to paint them, then just re-paint them. The shown example proves how easy and good it works.
The benefit IMO are a good range medium quality painted minis to play with.
In most game shops you have to play the greater sin of wargaming: "UN-painted" minis...
I always prefer a pre-painted army.

And the Cost vs demand arguments holds also some truth to me...
