Eureka/Foundry Zanzibaris
« on: 04 October 2009, 10:53:57 PM »
Hallo,

when I visited Eurekas homepage last time, I read that you can use their Zanzibari Slavers, to supplement their turkish pirates.

My question is, if this is also possible with Foundry Zanzibaris (not the heavily armed), or if there is a big difference between Foundry and Eureka Zanzibaris (maybe clothing or time period or anything else).

Thank you

The Foundry ones IMO are somewhat more Africa specific and of course a number are dressed as Baluchis. The Eureka ones look a bit more generic too me. Some of their spearmen have mad their way into my collection, alongside their Turkish pirates to fight the English at Tangier.

These Eureka Turkish pirates: -

are a little on the large size when compared to Foundry and assume the Zanzibaris would be of similar size.

In saying that I used them on the table but in different units.

Hope that helps.
