Pulp Figs
« on: 05 October 2009, 02:16:06 PM »
Just finished these guys below.  I decided to make theSky pirates fit in with a Desert project and to make them a little germanic - hence the DAK colours.  Oh and they wear sheepskin jackets because they operate at dusk OK? ;-)

I converted the Lewis to a water cooled MG15 (rare but they did exist) to add to the germanic feel...

Converted to be used as a grenade launcher...

They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

Those are great looking. Should do some pretty decent damage on the gaming table.
Victory is guaranteed to the last man standing, but always remember those whom you stepped on to get there!!

A couple more:

A conversion of the Fl Lt York fig with a bit of greenstuff and a BAM (I think) stick grenade.

Super work on converting the MG. Well done.

I always get a chuckle out of their funny pilot mercenaries.   lol

like these a lot,

although I don't really like the last two, not your painting or anything, just a bit too dastardly and mutley with guns if you know what I mean.

always liked the sky pirates, and particularrly like yours  :D

Decided that there were a few missing types for the Sky Pirates, plus the rules I am considering suggest that MGs have a No.2, so:

Radio operator

2 MG No2s with MG15 Doppel Trommel packs

Sniper

Brilliant. I love the variations in colour as well as design. I've seen them for real and they are numerous and even better than the pics.
