As if my 30K - 40K project weren't enough, I also couldn't resist starting a very small project, a 40K skirmish (of sorts) using epic 40K models. VERY fiddly. I have no idea how it will work out, but I have a couple of boards and some railway basing sheet which have been left unused for ages, so I made a start.

Here's the board, with the sheet already attached to it. I tried a different approach to the usual PVA, a massive deployment of good quality double sided tape. Other than the expected swearing to get the cover strip off, it went surprisingly well.

Close up of the action. The bikers are defending their outpost in the wasteland from a lost but menacing Stompa. This is the sort of action I have in mind. The wasteland idea would see riding or mounted troops, so I might avoid having fiddly single figures on foot.

The resurgence of the Squats has started this, together with a slow read through The Wargaming Compendium by Henry Hyde.

Hello Vanvlak,
Looks interesting. Waiting to see where it will go.
I have a box or 2 of those epic squats still on the sprue.
I guess too many projects so little time. ;)
Now waiting to see what GW is going to cook up
With the squats ( vertically challenged Primaris, perhaps  :D ?)
