I am also planning to switch to Midgard for fantasy when it's released, but who does magic work?
Is there i.e a difference between an elf wizard and an orc wizard? Are there different spells for different races?

Thank you! Midgard is a game that the auther wishes to  focus on the role of Heroes, think of the Sagas, adn Heroic Tales  Beowulf, Achiiles, Boromir,and as such magic takes a back seat. There are less than a dozen spells and only one wizard profile. However, Midgard is a work in prgress and not yet finished...

I have to say that the game system is excellent and the rules lend themselves to adaptation so that writing your own spells, unit and heroe profiles, sepcaila rules adn triats is relativley easy
