"Uhu Zweikomponentenkleber"
I can highly recommend it. It's also used to build RC aircraft

not sure

long time ago, I made a very bad experience
I glued togethera multipart lead dragon with it
it held rock hard
then I painted it
then it stood some time on a place where the sun was shining on it
and it fell apart....

Sounds good - bet you can't get it here  :-[ :-[
Does it dry rapidly?
More importantly - is it cat-resistant?!

lol Cats have a tendancy to play/destroy new things that they know they shouldn't and then look all innocent when it breaks, as if to say "It wasn't me!" and I think Vanvlak has one of them  :D

cheers

oh
I thought something different was meant

I know what You mean
but my cat never does this
he competes for my attention by jumping into my lap and purring
and when stinking chemicals get involved, he jumps away

maybe he is different or too well educated or too old - who knows exactly about cats? ;)

Thanks guys.
The best part is that even I don't quite know what it will look like in the end!
Here are some - ah - ancient sketches:
Plan view - with 'something' detached and placed to one side in this view.....

A flying machine.
Which is a roundabout if elegant way of saying I'm not sure yet!

(...) Random, Tippex, (...) Sepecat, (...).

C´mon, mate, with names like those you´re just asking for trouble and ensuing hilarity. ;) Much like my brother and his girlfriend naming their second cat "Shiva". Destroyer of worlds, indeed (although she is rather polite and indestructive by now, from what I gather).

Love the assembly. Weirdness à la Vanvlak.

I think so. The box says a short time resistance at 200°C. So everything below 180°C should be safe. As you can use temperature to increase the strenght of the bond, I believe it'll be able to bear slightly increased room temperature  ;)
Concerning hardening time, there are instructions: at 20°C it'll take 12 hours and achieve a strength of 1200 N/cm2, at 180°C it'll take five minutes and achieve a strength of 3000 N/cm2.
I've only made good experience with it. This doesn't include any experience with cats, though  lol

I am still mistrusting, but shall give it a try, thx

Tippex - this is Blasphemy!
I do hope they get outdoors, otherwise it's been Your own fault  ;)

mine has a long history, and when he chose us and moved in, we thought we wouldn't give him another name, and simply called him "Kater"
but I must admit he does have some terms of endearment
