AWI Rebels and Patriots rules unit mods
« on: June 24, 2022, 08:30:57 PM »
Hello,

I am working on a Princeton 1777 scenario for my wargaming club.  I am going to use the Rebels & Patriots rules.  I love the simple play of the Rampant style rules.

In building my forces I am considering categorizing the British line unit as Veteran to represent their greater training and discipline vs continental line regiments.  The unit in question is the 17th regiment.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks

Seems reasonable.

I’ve only played a few games of R&P and did Peninsular war, and my British were 95th rifles - so where very good stat wise (Vets, good shooting, long range), but in small units. A whole 24pt force of them seemed rather good. So if you may want to test for balance if one whole side is Vet.
