Screw Terrain Tutor Mel, and his perfect glue gun!  I got the stuff all over me, burning and burning, so I stagger towards pool, get my foot stuck in Styrofoam cutter (which was on floor, plugged in and at highest setting), fall in pool with foam cutter still burning through ankle.

Thank God for fuse breakers, as it was still plugged in as I hit water.  :0

That sounds like a string of disasters that could have spiraled completely out of control; with that kind of luck, you could have blacked out the entire state had it gone any further.

I take it at least the pool cover was not rolled out? 

If it's any consolation; I have blown up two hot glue guns so far, because I fed too much glue through it, resulting in the molten glue being forced out of the tube, into the insides of the gun, shorting out the circuit explosively. But with the drizzly climate over here, this always happened inside, so aside from being left in the dark with a broken glue gun, no further spectacular mishaps took place...

My Daughter tried to push the glue in with a coat hanger, a trick that fused the glue gun and left us all sitting in the dark.

Oh, it's real.  Those here that no me have zero doubts. 

I topped that!  Last night, I dove into the reverse to land a 20lb tarpon.  6 foot hammerhead rammed me!  Pic of me and Tarpon, then pic of me .1 seconds after hammerhead upended me..

I used to defend them in court    but you are right.  You tell them on the phone you have a Jerrycan full of gas and a M-1 carbine, and they get all out of sorts. ;(
