Trayne and firelocks
« on: July 28, 2022, 05:15:00 PM »

Here's a WIP shot of my wagon train for For King and Parliament (and TYW, 1672 etc) and ECW firelock-armed baggage guard. The wagons need horses and drivers, and everything needs flocking, but it should be ready for my Roundway Down display game at Colours. There's more about it on t'blog at: https://bigredbat.blogspot.com/2022/07/baggage-trayne-iii-with-added-firelocks.html

Cheers, Simon

Great additions to the artillery park! 👍 By coincidence I’ve just received a batch of wagons from Barry as well, and I was really impressed with how nice they look “in the metal”, so to speak.  Your dry brushing has brought them up a treat  :) .

Snayers is great at adding in those details around the actual battles - the baggage, and the civilians. The market stalls, kids, animals. Endlessly fascinating 👍.  It is a wonderful book to have.  Much more reasonable to buy now, but I don’t regret getting when it came out.  So much is available online as well.

Thank you -Where would be without people like you Simon who constantly provide us with inspiration?

A lot bloody better off financially no doubt but yet far more poor for the lack of your input lol
