Copplestone Gaslands Minis size?
« on: 04 August 2022, 07:09:17 AM »
Hi!
I have a question for the hive mind, specially for those with Copplestone's Gaslands minis: exactly how tall are they (in cm)? I recall having seen some size comparison with other minis, but as I don't own the other models in these it's hard for me to tell  o_o

Thanks in advance!  :)

Here's an article about the Highway Patrol models with measurements: https://72-multiverse.blogspot.com/2020/05/you-know-score-pal-youre-not-cop-youre.html

and below is a picture of Copplestone Gaslands Highway Patrol and Wasteland Warriors mixed in with late 80s Citadel Dark Future models.

The Copplestone Road Warrior figure is 25mm, soles of feet to top of head.

I use the Gaslands stuff for my 5 Parsecs games alongside Elheim "20mm," Hasslefree Grymm, Dark Future minis, some large 18mm stuff and a few small 25mm figures and some 3D prints rescaled for me to Gaslands scale.

The Grymm are a bit chunky but about the right height.

My older 20mm stuff looks a little small and weedy by comparison ... but some people are small and weedy, so I don't care.

Aliens range from 15mm to 28mm scale because how big are aliens?
There are 100 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data.

Do you have any pics of your collection ithoriel? I love 20mm SciFi and post apocalyptic gaming love to see anything I can for ideas.

Darathar, I was posting episodes of my 5 Parsecs game on the Pendraken Forum and The Wargames Website until a string of essential building repairs turned my dining table into a combination of builder's merchants and painting and decorating table! Five months on we are almost there so hopefully the adventures of the crew of Destiny's Child will restart in a few weeks time.

If you just want the pictures, I don't seem to be able to link to the overall gallery page but, the first episode pictures are here: https://imageshack.com/a/TN0w7/1 and it should be possible to navigate to the others from there .... I hope!

If you want the ongoing story episodes too you will find them mirrored here:
