Bretonnians
« on: 14 October 2009, 12:07:00 AM »
I had decided to pull out my old minis, strip them, and repaint them as my painting had gotten better.  Here are some pics of what I have done so far.

Hope you all like them, comments welcome.  There are some more pics at http://s233.photobucket.com/albums/ee130/jbuckvb/Bretonnian/

They are all nice, but my favorite is the middle cavalry knight. I like the color scheme and the shield really stands out!

Nice job. I was always intimidated by the Bretonnians, and finally sold them rather than fuss about them.

Great stuff - those bright colours on the knights really sing, which can be very tricky to achieve. Well done!

Good job.
I have most of the old bretonnian range. Those models were much cooler than the current range (with a few exceptions).

Absolutely gorgeous.

Can you come to mine and show me how to paint please? My Brettonian knights are rubbish!

As the other said, nice job!
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Thank you all for the comments.  I got my motivation from watching Kingdom of Heaven, which is an awesome movie.  My old Brets were painted in the older style and I just threw paint around all over the place.  When these brets came out I also bought some of the older GW Bretonnians, which I think look better than the new range.
