Only thing I can think of are Perry Brothers mins and North Star might have a set as well.

Do you mean something like that?

Not much choices, there are some poses in the various manufactures: Perry, TAG, North Star, Zentih, ecc...
Maybe your best choice could be 3d models like that: https://www.myminifactory.com/it/users/kyoushuneko/collection/japanese-samurai-army from Kyoushuneko miniatures.

Or mabybe same models but printed by etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1113796739/sohei-japanese-warrior-monks-ikkko-ikki never used etsy I got a 3d printer.

Hi

That's exactly what I'm lookionh for, I have seen the 3d printed stuff but not sure if it's over the top fantasy wise.

As I mentioned above I'm looking for the Monks to be armed with a Yari and also have armour. :-)

I agree, too much fantasy look&feel for my tastes, but I keep that option in the possibile solutions list, considering actual cost of minis, shipping and customs taxes, it's an option to consider.

I have all metal miniatures used mainly for Daisho/Ronin games, I would like (eventually) expand the ranges with more metal ones, I'm thinking i.e SAGA/Lion Rampant.

Their minis are a bit fiddly to assemble, but look great.

The models are beautiful though. A shame that there is only one wearing armour (2 if you include the hero). The naginata would be easy to file into yari though or you could buy the metal pike length yari that the Perry's sell (but I can't seem to find them in their store).
