[Review]Empress Miniatures WW2 Late Germans
« on: 25 September 2022, 02:17:59 PM »
Heyhey, here's my review of Empress Miniatures' WW2 Volksgrenadiers range:

https://www.battlebrushstudios.com/2022/09/review-empress-miniatures-ww2-germans.html

https://www.battlebrushstudios.com/2022/09/review-empress-miniatures-ww2-germans.html

They're sculpted by Paul Hicks, and to top it all off they're available on mainland Europe through tabletopper.nl. (I'm in no way affiliated with the shop other than that fact I'm waiting for a delivery from them. The figures reviewed as usual were bought good and proper.)

Hope you enjoy the review and find it useful!

Great review, and great painting!

I’m off to see what else Empress do in their WWII range - as these have far too much camo clothing for me to want to paint!

Thanks very much! The pretty narrow range is probably my main point of critizism there. :D Mr. Hicks is currently working on some British Paras. I've also seen the Empress US figures in action - very pretty too.

Well, you've certainly done those Empress German chaps justice!  Well done!

I always enjoy seeing Mr. Hicks work. And especially love his World War 2 line with empress. I hope he does more then just the Paras in the near future.

@Capn Jim: Thanks very much! :)

@DivisMal: Yeah, I was so taken with these figures that I thought it warrants a review article. Thanks for reading!

@commissarmoody: Same here!

@MaleGriffin: Cheers! Yeah, they are a bit nice, those figures. :)

WOW I sure hope you do more reviews. We desperately need reviews like this for WW2 figures. So glad you took the time to do comparison size pics with bolt action.

@Tom Dulski: Thank you! I did a bunch more WW2 figure reviews back in 2013/14/15. Size comparison pictures are pretty important, yeah. :)

@hayeswauford: Thanks very much!

Great painting and a nice review. If I gamed WW2 in 28mm these are exactly the sorts of figures I’d go for.
