We’re falling pretty short of our projected magazine sales for the year, and to ensure that there’s a Military Miniature for many years to come, we need your help now. To put it bluntly, we need more subscribers.

A lot of people think that buying a Military Miniature single issue supports us just as much as subscribing. But the bottom line is that Military Miniature has a greater chance at success having you as a subscriber than as an individual issue buyer. It’s not just about money. While we received many new subscribers, we’re still a ways away from reaching our goal of 800 additional subscribers. The future of Military Miniature Magazine relies on our readers, and we’re just not quite to the point we need to be.

We’ve been to conventions and watched the many Facebook groups out there and know just how big the North American wargaming community is. We also know how much that community has been looking for a localized outlet.

Yes, we know a physical, printed publication is really what the majority want. But we can guarantee that a printed magazine will never come because it’s far too prohibitive these days. We also think there are some benefits to digital that haven’t been considered, which we discuss in our blog A Case for Digital Magazines: Adjusting to a New Medium.

We want Military Miniature Magazine to be around throughout all of 2023 and beyond. Without the subscriptions to support it, it won’t be able to. Don’t forget, this isn’t just a sloppily thrown-together digital print. We commission authors, editors, and graphic designers to create a product worthy of your patronage.
