OGAM Greek themed gaming day (part three added 28 Sept.)
« on: September 26, 2022, 08:43:41 PM »
Six hardy souls assembled at the lovely Letsxcape Board Games Café in Newark on Sunday for a day of playing Of Gods and Mortals.
Three from Leeds and three from Nottingham - civic pride at stake? Hardly it was just a friendly day with a chance to meet and play new folk - tournaments is very much *not* our thing,
Three games with different opponents and a chance to sample some very fine cakes indeed thanks to Letsxcape. What better way to spend the day?

First up I played Tom with Zeus while James took on Chris and Martin played Kev.

Nice write up, I’m impressed you managed to get shots of all three games in progress. Great fun, and a big thumbs up for the Lets Excape café.

That's a great looking game! What mat are you using?

They're all home made mats. Fleece with various bits of spray added.

And so, fortified with victuals from Letsxcape café we set to with game number two. In which Hermes would take on Athena for possession of a grove (sacred).

Beautiful armies. Those Soderquist centaurs and the Mythic Athena are particularly lovely minis and beautifully painted.

Great looking games.

I have a ton of Greeks, but never seem to be happy with the Gods I find available.

You don’t rate the Mythic Battles Pantheon ones?
