Hedges
« on: 19 October 2022, 07:54:31 AM »
I made these for my AWI Collection.

They are good for defining boundaries.

They were made from a floor scouring pad and based on 2 X 12 inch metal strips.
I got the strips custom made for me from the company that makes all my metal stands.

No warping with metal and they stand up nicely.

Lovely! May have to pinch the idea.

With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

They look really great, I like how you avoided to make it too uniform (a common mistake for model hedges)

Lovely job, it is the non-warping quality along that 12" length that is so important.

Yes Norm, That's is why I mentioned them in the post.

They are also perfect for fences, stone walls and Bocage.

Thank you all, kind Sirs.

I am always amazed at the response that I get from these.
They are very simple to make.

The hardest part is tearing the damn scouring pad into irregular chunks.
That's where the two pliers come in!!
