On the Prussian right wing, a cavalry clash. The Prussian musketeers who were defending Dürre Berg are guarding their flank...

...but the Grenadier battalion which was left on Dürre Berg, perished heroically fighting against 4:1 odds.

While some Austro-Imperial troops had fallen back to reform, Nick understands that his cavalry is useless at his right flank, forms columns and guides colonel Zettwitz's cuirassiers towards the centre.

Miltiades is pressing the Prussian right. At the background we see the Austro-Imperial cavalry having fallen back to reform.
The cavalry battle did not go well for the Prussians (in contrary with the historical result), they lost their Hussars...

The Prussians won the battle on their left, eliminating one Reichsarmee battalion who attacked them from Strehla and sending another reeling back to reform.
The musketeers (background centre) who came forward from their entrenchments received a charge from Reichsarmee cuirassiers and eliminated them with a fine volley.
They are now facing the other Austrian cuirassier regiment. The Prussian guns also made a bloody work.

A general view from the Prussian side. Strehla is a no man's land for the moment. The Dragoons (foreground) still reforming.

Congratulations to the Austro-Imperial generals, Nick commanding the right and Miltiades commanding the left.
The Prussians reached very close to their breaking point but they were not driven out of their defensive works.
As Prussian, I did not manage to bring good dice at crucial moments and probably I should have recalled on time the isolated troops defending Dürre Berg.
Overall, the game could be considered a Prussian winning draw, 12,000 Prussians holding 25,000 Austro-Imperials.

It was really a near run thing! Although the Prussians suffered a lot, very different than the historical outcome.
