I just wanted to add that I have bought the basic T&T rulebook (it arrived today) and, on reading it through, it looks like it will be great fun to play!!!
As I am currently painting NW Frontier Brits, Indians and Pathans, the Colonial supplement will be a must-buy, as it is the period I mainly want to use the rules for at my wargames club. Am therefore eagerly awaiting any updates on progress (hint...hint... ;) )

I´m currently doing some Editorial Work on the Army Lists, and I can say I´m really impressed. Björn did a great job in translating the armies´ character into T&T terms, and I´m more than tempted to get some proper Redcoats now...

Driscoles, I'm not sure if I'm spelling this right, and I'm not sure exactly what this means in German, but would "Colonial Tummel" be a good name for a colonial supplement?

Well, we´re aiming for an English title to help with overseas sales ;), but assuming you mean like in "Colonial Turmoil"? I´d say that would be properly translated as "Kolonialgetümmel" or "Kolonialwirren", and, while fun, doesn´t quite seem to fit what we were looking for (Björn´s feedback pending and notwithstanding).

Additionally, since all the Colonial stuff is a bit touchy over here (pretty much like all that pre-1945 stuff), we´d best like to avoid a name that might be interpreted as inappropriately trivializing.

Hmm, I guess "Europa uber alles" wouldn't work either then...

I was thinking about a supplement title "Colonial Scramble," to borrow a word from the book title, "The Scamble for Africa."  Many other good titles have already been used for previous colonial games (The Sword and the Flame, Battles for Empire, Pax Britannica, etc.).

Thanks for your suggestions mate.
Well...I think I will make the Title very simple.
But my ears are open to any good idea that does not sound like " Colonial : Redemption of the Virgian Redcoats " or such . ;)
Thank you.

How about something short in the exisiting trend of short and catchy ('Triumph and Tragedy', 'No Pasaran')?

The slogan 'Cape to Cario' was minted by the the #1 British colonialist Cecil Rhodes, who envisioned painting the map of African red (British, not blood, in this context) from the Cape of Good Hope in the south to Cairo in the north, thus the slogan from “Cape to Cairo.” Colonialism obviously happened in a lot of places besides Africa, but I think it doesn't need a lot of background story to see how the slogan captures the push 'n shove to colour in the world map in your 'colour, weather they be Russian, American, German, Italian, French, British, Belgian, Spanish or what have you. Plus it is not immediately offensive.

Rhodes himself:

Google the slogan and you'll find quite a few interesting articles. (The image is taken from Wikipedia so it is quite possible it is within the public domain, if you want to use it.)
