They would be nice in other scales too, just
a lot smaller or more 'bug' like.

You're right they'd be great for swarms in15/18mm.

The winged ones look like 1:1 scale models of the deer flies in the woods around here in the summer- all teeth. All of those figures seem like they could work in a variety of scales.
