Glad to see the Kickstarter gathering speed, Simon. Well deserved  8)

In case anyone is interested in the miniatures mainly for all those lovely heads, here's a unit of longbows which are all-Perry bodies (kitbashed from across the Perry medieval sets) but fitted with Warsteel heads. As you can see, they're a perfect fit and provide great added variety...
(More pics on my long running WOTR thread... https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=40936.msg1784403#new)

And here Warsteel heads on Perry mounted figures...

And just for completeness, vice-versa, Perry heads on Warsteel pikemen bodies!

Just want to give all backers three casualties for free :)

Hope you like them.

If we reach the casualty strechgoal, i am going to make addition six of them.

I finished 26 Polearms some days ago together with some other stuff, but i cant convert the models at the moment in the quality i want to, to show you them.

My new computer will arrive this week or next week and then i show you all the stuff i worked on.

Will the sockets on the pole arm heads work on the standard wire pikes various companies sell?

Thank you guys!
Will the sockets on the pole arm heads work on the standard wire pikes various companies sell?

that is a good question!

i have pretty much from every company wotr miniatures but never bought the wire spears cause i always used the broom bristle method. but i checked the perry metal polearms and bills and they are a bit thicker than the thicker broom bristles.

even the plastic bristles from the broom are not all one diameter and variy from brislte to bristle a bit. some are thicker some are thinner.

however the great thing about 3d printing is that you can always de- or increase the size in the slicer and automaticly the hole increases  aswell.
i would check first with a ruler the diameter of the wire and then check in the slicer the size of the hole with the measurement tool.

but i think it will fit overall for the wire if you increase it like 3-4%.

I will just shoot an idea. Find a copper electrical wire with the proper gauge and make sockets of the pole arm heads compatible to it. In that way people will just have to go to a hardware store, get some cable, strip it (it takes 2 min) and they can have as pany poles as they wish without having to mail order in those wire spikes.

good idea!

i finished sculpting the first strechgoal. The kneeling pikemen. instead of the promised 4 i made 6.

and i decided to give the social media strechgoals for free aswell because we not going to reach them.

Hope you like the minis :)

Fantastic! Some of the kneeling ones will work quite well with crossbows or handguns too
