Design for Battle 28mm modern British
« on: December 15, 2022, 02:17:42 PM »
Here are some of the new 28mm modern British from Design for Battle, that I've just painted up. 3D sculpts, I think they may be doing them in metal soon as well.

Yeah plus one on that Rick, you've done a great job there, particularly on the faces and I think you have MTP down to a T.

Am I behind the times? I thought British camo was called DPM.
Great painting Rick F

It was; MTP (Multi Terrain Pattern) replaced DPM & DDPM since around 2010.

Brilliant!   :-*

Any chance you could share a step-by-step guide to painting MTP?  I was a DPM Demon, but I've tried and failed to paint MTP multiple times, even with the bloody uniform sitting in front of me!  >:(

In addition to what Ash said, you can also find it referred to as 'PCS', which is the name of the uniform itself (Personal Clothing System), rather than the camouflage pattern, but they are sometimes used interchangeably, even though PCS also exists in dark blue for the Royal Navy.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
I put a tutorial up on Facebook a while ago, if you're on there it is on the Ultra modern page. If not, I'll sort something out.
