FANTAYES! Horse and Musket freebie game
« on: January 12, 2023, 09:14:20 AM »
Dearest Sirs,
I've put together a Beer-and-pretzel game with a (remote and inconsistent) flavor of Horse and Musket warfare. You may find it vaguely interesting because it is really easy and fast. You can find the rules and some pic below. Thanks for taking a peep!

That looks really neat! I find the highly stylized battlefield quite appealing.

Thank you, it goes quite well with the toyish wellesian feeling of it all. The rules address to a very limited amount of terrain pieces to get you through the first six scenarios. This is the diagram of the required scenery elements.

Haven't read all the way through, but like the fog or war things, like swapping a couple of the enemy's cards.
And the glorious general led the advance
With a glorious swish of his sword and his lance
And a glorious clank of his tin-plated pants. - Dr. Seuss

Like the setup and activation rules - haven’t got much further yet, but certainly of interest

Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, I’d love to read how you found them, whenever it will be.

Haven't read all the way through, but like the fog or war things, like swapping a couple of the enemy's cards.

This is surely a fun part. When I play alone (up to now 100% of times) this is done randomly, and it greatly increases the chance of having unforseen situations (= frustration and fun).

Like the setup and activation rules - haven’t got much further yet, but certainly of interest

Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, I think you went through the most confusing part, the rest should be pretty straightforward. I hope you’ll like it.
