Marguerite of Anjou, one of the principal figures of the war of the roses. Daughter of Rene of Anjou, (King of Naples). Often named as the spark that started the 30 year War of the Roses, head of the Lancastrian cause.  A 28mm Perry miniature

Ermine, it is the tail fur of the white Stoat/weasel and was the symbol of nobility in the period. The black tips were actually the lack  tail standing proud of the white fur.
