Thanks again  guys, the whole family was sick for the second time in less than 3 weeks so not much painting done over the last 7 days. But I received some color shift paints that I used in combination with washes and other metallics to repaint the Colour of of Space miniature as I was pretty unhappy with the previous result.

Still not 100% satisfied, but it looks a bit more outlandish now.

Also airbruhed the base coat on all Season 3 monsters, will be washing most of them in oil washes next, and I hope to get some fully painted this weekend.

Dhole, the Unnamable and serpent men painted up and with that all episodes from the latest kickstarter can be played. From here I will move on to paint up the season 3 investigators before sorting out the rest of the stretch goal monsters, stretch goal investigators and the remaining two "lost episodes".

I'm currently painting up multiple projects at the same time, being the closest to finish Cthulhu Death May die season 3-4 content made me push through painting the the final two stretch goal "lost episodes" scenarios and their monsters.

Hypnos from the Hypnos scenario, and Rhan-Tegoth and Gnoph-keh trio from the Horror in the museum scenario. I had lots of trouble figuring out how to paing the Rhan-Tegoth miniature which lookes like a cross between a fly, a beetle and a crab. I'm pretty happy with the end result, but the road to reach that was long and filled with several different takes on color scheme, various washes, oil washes, airbrushing, drybrushing as I repainted it several times. It was also a bit back and forth in how much glossy "ichor" I left on the miniatures and how much to matt varnish.

You continue to knock these figures right over the boundary; great brushwork indeed.

All player characters from Season 3 painted up. Between changing jobs, and getting new brushes that did not split after every 3-4 brushstrokes, painting has been slow lately. But I had some spare time this weekend and finished these. I recently purchased the Metal Gear Solid board game which is lots of fun, and does not have an awful lot of miniatures, so chances are I will paint up that before resuming painting my other board game projects next.

Also, I recently picked up THE best matt varnish I have ever come across during all these years. I HIGHLY recommend AK Ultra Matt varnish. Only needs some light shaking, and can be applied straight out of the bottle using a brush. Dries within a couple of minutes and the result is fantastic.

Great looking minis!

How do the investigators scale next to Copplrstone, RAFM, pulp, Spectre, etc?

Sadly can't answer that as I don't have minis from any of those companies, but these are large chunky 28mm miniatures leaning into heroic scale.

They are a relieve after staring at the horrors you painted before. I think I had lost some mental sanity by doing so. Beautiful paintjobs on these humans too!
