Just found this article on the new faction for AT43, the ONI. The are a high tech Zombie army...cool!

Looks pretty interesting with loads of room for conversions ( and re-paints).

They definately have promise. I need some of those vehicles too. Lose the stupid guns and make them APC's, they'll fit in well with my Halo Warthogs.

Do you mean how well or how does it? There are a lot of people out there that just don't enjoy the painting and building like we do.

By the way, I like the SHIELD guys on you blog. I just started making my own SHIELD army out of various minis too.

Because there are some great sculpts in there and they can be repainted very easily. Admitedly I only bought the walkers and power armour myself but I've seen some lovely repaints of the infantry. As to paint jobs on them, if they came with a paintjob I was happy with I'd buy them straight away. Personally I don't like painting, it's purely a means to an end.

I'm pretty sure that there are quite a few people that either can't or won't paint minis, their only interest being in actually playing.
I like the sculpts not the paint jobs and can see a lot of potential for them.

Some potential, but not convinced (yet) in the same way I wasn't convinced by the WF Placcies....

True i've got another 100 metal zeds on my paint table, but i'd like to see some of these face-to-face before I buy.

TBH, if you want upgunned zeds, i'd buy the ex-Spyglass ones (now sold by Brigade), and give them guns from Hasslefree...

well, I have to say I'm a painter first and a gamer second but, if there was anything that could remotely interest me in prepainted miniatures then space zombies would be that thing. They'd have to look pretty damn cool though, and I'd probably repaint them anyway.

I like them quite a bit...other than those stupid looking power cables...I love the APCs, and the idea of the warriors. I may actually get this set. If it goes for what the others have, it's seems a decent deal.

Yeah, I've never quite understood the pre-paint companies reluctance to hold a few sets back, unpainted, at a small discount.

I'd much prefer to buy them that way.

I must agree. I think the techno-zombie look could cover anything from WWW2 up to Umbrella mis-directed science. Plus the APC's look champion too. Any idea of cost? (£)
