Wow; never knew that place existed. If I even happen to find myself back in the colonies, I'll be sure to check it out!

Looks cool. I tend to avoid all things Disney and all things over-touristy, but it would be cool to do. How late is it open? Maybe they have evening hours after the kiddies all go back to their hotels?  lol

They did for when I was there on a press trip to cover the Mission Mars ride. Wish it had been this instead, but without all the kids and general public WDW Florida at night and drunk is great.  lol

Had a work colleague go there last year. He ended up buying another suitcase for all the merchandise he came back with.  lol

Looks a bit different - and with a few more 'ships' - than the version in California (or at least that is what my memory tells me).  For this who get a chance to go, definitely be sure to go through the shops for possible 'toys' for your gaming.  But be careful!  My small purchase turned out to be really expensive before I finished buying all the Star Wars stuff now sitting in storage waiting for 'the day'.  Of course, mostly not from Disney - but they started it all!  lol

To be fair I brought a full size zombie home on a previous visit to Universal Studios...that was great fun getting through Customs  :D

Just a very small update today...been away pretty much the last month for work, so zero hobby time.

One thing I took away from my trip to Galaxy's Edge (not the only thing mind) was that I need more clutter on my terrain.

The following is just the start of the extra set-dressing ... there were a lot of widgets/shields/pans etc hanging on the walls, which really helped to break up the blank spaces, so I've raided my existing sprue crate for some free bits

The tiny gubbins are bucklers from Perry WOTR spurs. The riveted shields are Fireforge Northmen sprees and are detailed on both sides, so if you have the wooden side up, they make useful trays/platters for trade goods etc.  The interesting shapes with the central boss are Perry Sudanese.

Next phase of the additional set dressing is some wooden beads which make really decent pots - I bought a number of different sizes/shapes, and for cŁ10 I've now got a large selection to add to my settlement.

I used the same beads for my Vietnam War setting.
