Continuing with my blog posts on recent army additions I've done a blog post on my unit of Infanteria de Marina.

http://olicanalad.blogspot.com/2023/04/mid-war-spanish-additions-cont-5.html

As with the other posts, I acknowledge the fudges I have had to make to represent this unit - anyone doing mid war Spanish will know that fudges need to be made in a lot of cases (far more than for other armies) and that is why I'm doing the posts as a series rather than one very long one.

More pics on the blog....
and I hope you like them.

Another great unit. I understand your 'fudges', sometimes its necessary to depict certain units, and its easier to overlook the problem rather than spend a lot of time getting it 'right'. You will not see most of the things you have listed as issues once they are on the gaming table, and most people would know that you have 'fudged' them anyway.
I have done similar recently with some Westphalians I am working on, and will be doing the same once I get stuck into my Spanish troops.
I look forward to seeing more.  :)

Plus one to that comment.
Love the top hats. What figures did you use as a basis? 1812 USA ?

These figures are Front Rank Spanish, straight out of the box.

See blog post link for uniform guide.
