Supernatural TV series diorama WIP Project.
« on: 04 May 2023, 09:03:01 AM »
My daughter and I have recently started watching this series and really enjoy it. I had a bit of inspiration and working on a diorama. Waiting for two more models, but this is what I've got so far. The scene will be a cemetery, with Sam, Dean, Baby and the Yellow Eyed Demon and a female Jason Voorhees 😁.

The most important thing in the hobby is that you're having FUN! Doesn't matter if you win or lose.

Splendid!
Great idea for a campaign every episode is a scenario.
I tried to interest crooked Dice in a set of figures years ago.

A good start (please can you have another go at the photographs, they are a bit out of focus).

I look forward to seeing that graveyard.

Bit of progress made. It's a nice touch that the kit comes with 20 gravestones in five different variants. Patience is a virtue and I took my time glueing all the frail bits together.

The last two miniatures for my diorama painted up, awaiting drying, varnishing and basing.

Army painter Speed Paints and their Flesh Tones Set used.

Lovely painting but seeing this reminds me of my original complaint when these figures came out. Sam should be much bigger than Dean. Anyone who has watched the programme knows this.
They are commonly referred to as moose and squirrel!

They look great! Nice work on the graveyard. My own 28mm scratch-built graveyard finally saw the tabletop this weekend...  :-*

Thank you for your kind words Sir. I know, when my daughter and I started watching the series we found it slightly hilarious that "short" Dean is 6' tall! Taller than my 5'10"  :D. But I still think the Hasslefree miniatures were lovely to work with, nice sculpts.

Thanks a lot Sir. I don't paint much these days due to chronic pain issues but I invested in a cheap headset with magnifiers that's been a game changer for my painting efforts.

I have a bit more of detailing I want to do on the graveyard, awaiting scatter as moss that's going to be applied to varies bits. I also would like to have an eerie green/ evil red lighting effect emanating from the crypt on the walls but have no idea how to go about that.

Also seeing your own new post, I find myself thinking about scratching that PA itch, maybe Zona Alfa

Done a bit more work on the graveyard, nearly calling it done. Really enjoying the creativity and the project.
